Looking For Ways to Lower the Cost of Broadband?
How to Take the Bite Out of Broadband
View Recorded Webinar
Presented by Johnny Hill, COO of Clearfield
Participate in a three-part exchange of logical, cost-effective solutions, practices and methodologies for the deployment of FTTp passive broadband networks.
Part 1: Reducing the OP/EX and CAP/EX of Fiber Deployment
Johnny Hill, COO of Clearfield, will provide a glimpse on how Clearfield clients are using the patch & splice method of fiber management to align capital equipment expenditures with subscriber revenue -- while reducing operational costs associated with inventory management, service turn-up time, and technician training.
Part 2: Make your voices heard regarding real-world issues, concerns and questions
Provide design input and feedback on what’s needed to make cost-effective fiber deployment a reality in your network. Pose questions to your peers on problems you’ve encountered and hear what solutions have worked for them. Clearfield will introduce www.FiberPuzzle.com as well as Clearfield Connect -- an on-line user forum at which this dialogue can continue.
Part 3: The Total Cost of Ownership
Participants will receive a copy of an independent research paper that reports the findings of a survey conducted among rural broadband service providers. A key finding includes how broadband networks are evolving from a focus on lower capital and operational costs, to environments managed under a true total cost of ownership model.
