Plan Fiber Routes that Maximize Commercial Revenue
View Recorded Webinar

OSP Engineers are tasked with planning, designing and constructing networks on order to generate new revenue. Everyday they are inundated by requests from sales to determine serviceability and, if necessary, expand the network or build out to high value customers. In order to optimize the available capital projects must be selected and planned to deliver the highest return on investment possible. Good network planning requires accurate information about existing plant and capacity, the location of potential high revenue commercial customers and conditions exist in the field that could impact a buildout. ESRI’s geospatial solutions allow OSP engineers to incorporate all this data into the planning process, enabling them to plan fiber routes that maximize revenue and meet capital budgets.

Network planners and engineers plan, design and construct telecommunication networks that deliver reliable services to customers and yield significant revenue to the organization with ESRI’s ArcGIS product family.  It enables smarter planning by bringing together traditionally isolated data from many departments, including marketing and sales. This allows engineers to evaluate the potential network buildouts and expansions with consideration for revenue potential, assisting them to select the route with the highest ROI.
