Why Attend?
Are you faced with yet another Local Area Network (LAN) upgrade – both equipment and CATx structured cabling? And, you are under pressure to do the network upgrade with less money, improve ROI by extending the useful life of this new network. While being tasked to reduce building power consumption to meet LEEDS building certification, take care to not negatively impacting building’s thermals and preserve revenue generating floor space. With the additional responsibility of selecting and deploying a next generation LAN with faster bandwidth speeds, converged services and advanced security?
This webinar will explore the benefits of an GPON Optical LAN solution that can satisfies all of CAPEX and OPEX pain points that you are being challenged while providing:
- Customer business cases have exposed up to 70% CapEx savings with Optical LAN
- Less hardware, less electronics, less power, less thermals, less space means HUGE benefits for you and leads to on-going OpEx savings
- There is a measurable 80% less power and 90% less space in comparison with traditional active Ethernet LAN
- With fiber used for LAN structured cabling, you can be assured of no more CATx upgrades ~ The new fiber is technology agnostic and nearly future proof!
- It’s a green solution with measurable environmental saving today and tangible rippling effect for tomorrow
Join Tellabs & OSP to explore the benefits of Optical LAN provides broadband fiber connections directly to the local area network end users. It is a fiber based technology that replaces traditional, active Ethernet equipment, and associated copper-based CATx wiring, with passive GPON equipment, near future-proof single mode fiber, additional security, and faster speeds.
