
CenturyLink Executive, Pieter Poll, to Deliver Opening Keynote at OSP EXPO® 2012
OSP EXPO today announced CenturyLink’s Pieter Poll, Senior Vice President – National Network Planning, Engineering and Construction, as the 2012 opening keynote speaker. Dr. Poll will address more than 3,000 delegates at OSP EXPO taking place November 14 –15, 2012 at the Denver Convention Center in Denver, CO.

Pieter Poll oversees the planning, engineering and construction of CenturyLink’s national and international networks to support capabilities for hosting; LD voice and VoIP; data, transport and fiber networks; cloud-based services and distributed functions. He also leads a team that performs vendor technology management on behalf of Network Services. He previously served as CTO for Qwest and was responsible for the strategic technology direction of the company. He currently serves on the Board of Directors of the Center for Telecom Management at the University of Southern California’s Marshall School of Business. He participates on the Advisory Board for the Interdisciplinary Telecommunications Program at the University of Colorado – Boulder. In 2009, Poll was awarded the President’s Volunteer Service Award.
OSP EXPO will feature more than 200 telecom exhibitors showcasing network solutions and infrastructure trends from the CO to the STB. More than 30 educational programs will be offered with the opportunity to earn continuing education credits. Seminars and keynotes will focus on the digital home, home automation, mobile backhaul, and more.
