OSP EXPO 2012 Seminar Tracks
Track 1: Everything Fiber: FTTH/FTTx/FTTCS
Fiber to everything would be the ideal solution but since that’s not possible, providers are craving interim and cost-effective solutions. Attendees are looking for fiber solutions from the connected home all the way to the cell site. Got one or two you’d like to share?
Track 2: Testing & Troubleshooting to Produce Operational Efficiencies
Whether its field force optimization, conditioning networks for higher speeds or reducing redundancies across the network organization, attendees are craving ways to cut costs without cutting effectiveness.
Track 3: Energy/Sustainability and Emerging Technologies
Since only 12% of U.S. broadband households are very familiar with current energy monitoring possibilities, providers are looking to take advantage of that final frontier in the connected home. Attendees are looking for solutions in this emerging area – and they need them now!
Track 4: Service Provider Best Practices and Learnings
Join providers who have walked a mile (or two) in your shoes. They know what works and what doesn’t and are willing to share their best practices. In addition, vendors can share case studies of solutions that providers have employed in the field. Are you a service provider who’s got the inside scoop on realistic HOW-TO network evolution solutions?
Track 5: Construction & Implementation Solutions from Data Center > End-User
From cooling and managing data centers to upgrading the copper network to increase its rate and reach, the infrastructure is calling for new solution to increasingly complex demands. If you have a new way to solve an existing problem, service providers are interested in learning about it.
Track 6: DAS Engineering/Construction of Indoor and Outdoor DAS
Attendees need to learn the basics of DAS 101, overcoming the challenges of constructing and implementing DAS networks and the benefits of DAS over traditional Macro systems. Got that info. DAS is what attendees need to know today!
Now's the time to get in front of attendees and share your knowledge about everything under the OSP sun. Your presentation can help our attendees find ways to make their work practices more productive, improve quality, increase profitability, improve efficiency, and keep up-to-date with the latest opportunities, technologies, and trends.
Come on, you OSP guru, you. It's time to stop keeping all those smarts to yourself. Submit a presentation and let the rest of the OSP world in on your great know-how.

Overall program direction is defined by OSP. OSP EXPO is designed to serve various audience segments (management and technical), and to address a wide variety of outside plant and telecom industry issues. We are looking for substantive, high-quality educational seminars; your Seminar Summary should reflect this. Your Seminar Summary should also reflect your commitment to offer educational information or instructional/tutorial content.
Your seminar should not contain sales or marketing oriented content. Please note that presentations must be educational or instructional in nature, and should avoid commercialism and use of trade names. Presentations of a sales or marketing nature, or those containing specific product demonstrations, without objective comparisons to similar products on the market, are not acceptable. Case histories, real-life problem solving, and research-based findings (with your sources listed) are encouraged to be part of your content. Presentations of new technologies should include an overview of other options available, including data from studies for comparisons.
