OSP EXPO: Regular Seminars
The length of a Regular Seminar is 45 minutes. Assignment of the seminar time slot is the decision of the conference team. Specific times have not been finalized, but will be detailed during the invitation process. Additional presentations may be scheduled by the conference team. Regular seminars are scheduled to be presented on Wednesday, October 22 or Thursday, October 23, 2008. There will be a Speaker Ready Room on site. All seminar rooms will be prepared for PowerPoint presentations. You are responsible for bringing your presentation on-site with an accompanying laptop for your respective session. Sessions rooms for the Regular Seminars seat 60 attendees. How you structure your seminar time is up to you. In the past, we have had a variety of formats for these seminars, including: lecture, Q&A, multiple presenters, panel discussion, and hands-on exercises and workshops. Case histories, real-life problem solving, and research-based findings (with your sources listed) are encouraged to be part of your content. You are welcome and encouraged to use the format that presents your material at its best. CECs/CEUs/Points may be assigned to your seminar. The number of CECs/CEUS will be determined after your accepted seminar is reviewed by the accrediting organizations. More information about the CECs/CEUs will be available on this website at a later date for accepted speakers. At the end of your seminar, you will distribute to each of your attendees a Certificate of Completion. This certificate, which you produce, lists:
