Education is learning what you didn’t even know you didn’t know. - Daniel J. Boorstin
What Don’t You Know? Isn’t that an interesting question? Some of what we know leads us to additional things we feel obligated to learn. But, it’s wondering what we DON’T know that should ignite passion in each of us. It does for me. I want to be an information sponge through my career -- soaking up every ounce of learning I can find.
That’s why I’m so jazzed about this year’s OSP EXPO® and all the opportunities to be a learning junkie. Check out the incredible keynotes: one by a senior executive of a rather large LEC; the second by a group of entrepreneurial IOCs YOU can interview from the audience during the panel discussion. Talk about the potential to soak up new things you didn’t know!
But, it doesn’t stop there. OSP EXPO is all about alternative learning opportunities like a killer networking event where you can rub elbows with your learning-hungry (and thirsty) colleagues. This hour-and-a-half-long event features hors d’oeuvres; beverages; and a strolling mariachi band. (Who says learning can’t be fun too?)
It’s all yours for the taking. By the end of OSP EXPO 2010 you’ll not only be refueled and motivated, you may be dealing with a bit of information overload. And the only thing you have to do is go to www.ospmag.com and register for FREE. When prompted, enter priority code VIP2010. To the joys of learning!
