TIA 2012: Inside the Network
The broadband communications industry is in a constant state of great change and opportunity, in the technology arena and increasingly in the business realm.
The carrier business model is undergoing a significant transformation. Traditional differentiators for service providers — network speed, depth of product/service portfolio and price — are no longer enough to attract and retain customers.
Whether companies are opening Innovation Centers, working as part of diverse ecosystems or collaborating internally across vast geographic boundaries, at the heart of today’s Innovation model is The Network.
In this era of The Networked Society, anything that can benefit from a connection will get one. Telecom operators and service providers face both opportunity and threat from the combined force of the popularity and proliferation of a wide variety of smart devices, video entertainment, Over-the-Top (OTT) services, and the rush by enterprise to move information technology into the Cloud. As bandwidth requirements continue to increase for residential, commercial and mobile services, the underlying network infrastructure must also scale to meet these requirements and achieve operational and capital expense efficiencies to stay profitable.
TIA 2012 is designed to capture this transformation on multiple levels. The event, which is organized by the Telecommunications Industry Association (TIA), brings together leading minds to focus on the technology, the network business model, network innovation and a transformed customer experience.
Plan to attend, or exhibit at, TIA 2012: Inside the Network, June 5-7, 2012 in Dallas, TX. Whether your interest is Converged Networks, Cloud Optimization, M2M, Mobile Backhaul, Multiscreen Video, Optical Transport, Security, Connected Homes or Green ICT, TIA 2012 offers opportunities for communications suppliers, integrators, network operators and service providers to gain an immersive experience into important changes driving our industry.
Co-located with the annual CONNECTIONS: The Digital Living Conference and Showcase hosted by Parks Associates, TIA 2012 features keynotes from AT&T, Verizon, Alcatel-Lucent, GENBAND, CenturyLink and other leaders in the Network ecosystem. Multiple educational tracks, specialty conferences and technology demonstrations round out the opportunities to learn, network and conduct business.
Industry leaders Alcatel-Lucent, AT&T, Cisco, Ericsson, GENBAND, ILS Technology, Infinera, Juniper, McAffee, Sumitomo, and Walker and Associates are all major sponsors of the educational conference.
Registration opens in February 2012. www.tia2012.org. Contact exhibits@tiaonline.org for information on exhibiting or sponsoring. View the video to find out more!
