OSP EXPO Reports Record Numbers
OSP® magazine today announced strong industry support for the upcoming OSP EXPO® 2010 taking place October 13-14, 2010 at the Henry B. Gonzalez Convention Center in San Antonio, TX. The sold-out exhibition will feature more than 200 telecom exhibitors focusing on network infrastructure from the CO to the STB. Pre-registration attendee levels are at record levels, tracking 17% over 2009.
Telecom professionals from more than 60 service providers around the world have registered for the conference representing all 50 states and more than 20 countries; educational programs are at or near capacity. Additionally, OSP EXPO will host private provider events including: the AT&T Southwest Construction & Engineering Conference, AT&T OSP Cross Functional Sourcing Team (CFST), AT&T 22-State Electronic Cabinet Team, AT&T National Design Staff, AT&T National C&E Staff, and the AT&T 22-State Remote Terminal Power Committee. OSP EXPO’s diverse attendee draw from North, South and Central America, Europe, Asia, Africa, the Middle East, the United Sates, and Canada will make for an exciting not-to-be missed event.
OSP magazine’s Editorial Director and Vice President, Sharon Vollman, stated, “OSP has created educational programs that help the provider community find realistic solutions to evolve their infrastructure quickly and in a cost-effective manner. You can see the response to this model by attendee pre-registration numbers. The reason providers, like AT&T and mid-sized LECs and IOCs, have committed to attending OSP EXPO is because it offers the HOW-TO behind the wireless and wireline networks. No other show offers this unique educational lineup and diverse attendee universe. OSP EXPO offers 30 seminars, one live summit, and keynote presentations, including the following participants Ernie Carey, Senior Vice President - Construction and Engineering, AT&T, Michelle Simpson, Vice President, Field Operations, Cincinnati Bell, Joy Eldred, Regional VP - Engineering, Frontier Communications, Dean Mischke, P.E. Vice President, Finley Engineering, Mike Edl, Senior VP Network Services, Hawaiian Telcom, and Larry Boehm, Director – Network Implementations, TDS Telecommunications Corp.”
“The telecom market has withstood the trials of the recession because of its diversity and tenacity,” said Sharon Vollman. “OSP EXPO is the one annual event where BOTH IOCs and LECs come to find realistic solutions to their infrastructure challenges and discover solutions as diverse as the players in it.”
