Pesky Persistence Prevails
Do you have a reputation that precedes you? It seems I do. In my editorial role, I’m known as a bit pesky…once you connect with me, I never let you out of my editorial grasp. (Though I hope it’s not too painful…)
Even better, the entire OSP team embraces that helpful peskiness. We do it because we’re passionate about helping you do what you do even better than you do it today. And we have you to thank for embracing our peskiness over the last 30 years.
Why have we lasted longer than most? Our peskiness and passion, of course! Here are 5 reasons why OSP endures:
Reason 1: We remain true to our mission while embracing change. We share realistic network solutions for the ever-changing telecommunications industry with 23,000 of you. (And we consider ourselves lucky to have this honor!)
Reason 2: We partner with providers like AT&T, Verizon, Frontier and Cincinnati Bell who have the same educational focus as we do, year after year.
Reason 3: We continually seek new channels to deliver educational content to you: print, online, events, webinars, seminars, and, this year, through social media. We want to make it easy for you to be on top of your game!
Reason 4: We deliver our print publication in a digital format to meet the demands of our global readership and attendees – now the magazine hits your desk in print or electronically whether you’re in Iowa or Asia!
Reason 5: We bring OSP to life with OSP EXPO (which is celebrating its 20th year). In fact, we’ve sold out our show floor the last two years with record attendance and we’re on track to do the same this November in Denver, Colorado.
So call me pesky and persistent. Quite honestly, it’s a reputation I happily embrace and hope to nurture for the next 30 years as your editor.
To a productive and successful 2012!
Sharon
P.S. Editorial invitation to international providers who wish to showcase their network expertise during OSP's live panel discussion at OSP EXPO 2012! Interested? Email OSP's editorial director today: Sharon@ospmag.com.
