ReliOn’s hydrogen fuel cell products are designed specifically for communications backup power applications. They use Proton Exchange Membrane (PEM) fuel cell technology in a modular, fault-tolerant architecture, providing a clean energy option with the only emissions being water and warm air. ReliOn fuel cells are scalable systems which may be configured to provide extended backup power capacity for load requirements ranging from 50W for low power/low capacity installations to 12kW for higher power/higher capacity sites. ReliOn products offer an unparalleled degree of flexibility to address the space constraints of various types of installations, whether they are indoor shelter or hardened outdoor cabinet locations

ReliOn has sold more than 3.1MW of fuel cell systems located in approximately 1,100 commercial sites in the United States and 21 countries. The majority of its revenues are derived from sales of products to telecommunication companies though other key customers include transportation networks and various government agencies.
